As an Additive Manufacturing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in advancing our 3D printing capabilities and optimizing production processes. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire additive manufacturing workflow, from design to final production, ensuring high-quality output and efficiency. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting issues, implementing innovative solutions, and continuously improving our manufacturing techniques. Few examples of responsibilities:
- 3D Printing Setup and Operation: Set up and operate 3D printing machines, ensuring optimal performance and high-quality output
- Machine Management: Program, start up, and maintain 3D printing machines, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively.
- Monitoring of Production Processes: Oversee production processes, including product labeling, documentation production, and maintaining organization on the shop floor and within production cells.
- Structuring Maintenance Projects: Create and organize documentation for machines and production cells, and digitize documents developed during production. Collaborate with the quality department to ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Ideal Background:
- ITIS or ITS Diploma in the Mechanical/Mechatronic field. A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a specialization in Additive Manufacturing is considered a plus.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Large Scale Additive Manufacturing, or else with FDM 3D printing or as a Milling Technician in a similar role with non-additive technology.
- Use of CAM software.
- Knowledge of the use and maintenance of CNC machines (lathe/mill/3D printer, etc.).
- Knowledge of measuring instruments (caliper, tape measure, roughness tester, etc.).
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite (particularly Word and Excel).
- Ability to use at least one 3D modeling software.
- Nice to have: basic experience or aptitude for documentation production and optimization.
- Quick thinker, adaptable to change, with strong problem-solving abilities. Precise and practical approach.
- High proficiency in either Italian or English is mandatory; the second language can be at a lower intermediate (B1) level.
