As a Field Engineering Specialist, you will lead on-site technical assessments, installations, and maintenance for complex projects. You’ll troubleshoot issues, address technical inquiries, and ensure seamless integration of our products into client operations. You’ll assist in project planning, perform field tests, and provide training and support to clients and internal teams. Collaborating with the engineering team, you’ll drive process improvements and innovations.

Few examples of responsibilities:

  • Lead tech assembly at our Austin facility and spearhead on-site installation and integration at client locations.
  • Support in client management and after-sales
  • Assist the Operations function in managing the facility (maintain order, warehouse monitoring, purchasing, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with clients to ensure the successful implementation of our products and services
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide swift and effective resolutions
  • Assist in project planning, including equipment selection, resource allocation, and timelines
  • Work alongside the engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations
  • Produce technical documents

 

Ideal Background:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Robotic field. A specialization in Additive Manufacturing will be considered a plus
  • 1-3 years of experience in Field Engineering in manufacturing complex systems (Machinery, Automotive etc)
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical technical drawings
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • MS Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Nice to have: knowledge of Rhinoceros
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • English language proficiency (Level C1/C2)

Other requirements:

  • Willingness to travel to client sites in US.
  • A valid driver’s license.
