Application Engineer Project Manager - NAFTA

Join Our Team as an Application Engineering Project Manager!
At Caracol, you’ll manage product design, focusing on finished parts and tooling. Communicate effectively with technical stakeholders and excel in client management with your strong managerial and relational skills. Support commercial efforts, oversee AE US branch resources, and lead Project Specialists. You’ll also manage technical projects related to DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and additive manufacturing. Few examples of responsibilities:

Strong client management and technical support for our stakeholders.
Directly support commercial efforts and lead generation.
Provide managerial oversight of AE US branch resources.
Manage and guide a small team of Project Specialists reporting directly to you.
Support in Product Design: Work on finished parts (non-creative) and tooling for various industries, including Automotive, Aerospace, Architecture & Construction, Industrial, Art & Design, and Marine.
Project Management: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and problem-solving throughout the project.
Collaborate closely with the Operations function in planning and budget oversight.

Ideal Background:

Degree in Industrial Design or Engineering field.
At least 5-6 years of experience in Project Management in Creative Industries or Mechanical/Engineering sector (Aerospace, Automotive, Nautical, Rail, etc.). Must have experience as a Manager.
Project Management.
People management.
Basic understanding of design or engineering-level design.
Experience in creation, vision, and the ability to build.
Nice to have: experience in Additive Manufacturing (AM), composites, or polymers.
Nice to have: Knowledge of a second language from Italian, German, French, or Spanish.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team, other departments, and external stakeholders.
Problem-solving and passion for innovation.
Leadership: Inspire and motivate teams, set clear goals, create a positive work environment, make decisions, solve problems, and guide the team towards achieving objectives.
Availability to travel often.
Knowledge of English is mandatory.
